After the boom in you tube of the Jorge Brothers (10, 11 and 14 years old) with their band “Gauchos de Acero” (Steel Gauchos) playing a cover version of Refuse Resist from Sepultura, another argentinian child prodigy seems to be appearing at the myspace scene. He is Lucciano”Luchy” Pizzichini, and he was born in Buenos Aires in 2000 and nowadays he is living in Miami. From the moment he was conceived, his father (Adrian PIzzichini) used to place loudspeakers next to the mother’s pregnant belly and artists such as John Scofield, Pat Metheny and The Beatles could be listened. At the age of two he used to play melodies with a one-string-guitar that his father gave him as a present. At the age of three he used to read a sheet music and at the age of five he was learning music techniques in a formal way. At the age of six he completed the classic guitar method of Berklee and he ventured into books of other music schools. Now he is seven years old and he knows about harmony and every music scale. In November 2006 he started to perform live together with his father in different pubs of Miami and he has also played in the heart of Lincoln Road in South Beach and he got the attention of tourists and pedestrians. Luchy has learnt more than sixty songs by heart and he sings while he plays the guitar. Nowadays he is attending Primary School and he is also attending the “Conservatorio Nacional” (National School of Music) in Buenos Aires. Lucciano was voted as Best Prodigy of 2007 by the New Times and the Miami Herald has published an extensive article about him. Not long ago Lucciano performed the song “Vicio” (“Vice”) live together with Los Ratones Paranoicos (“The Paranoid Mice”).
